AMBER SMITH

Amber is a Mentor with Integrity from Charlottesville, VA. She started her schooling in Albemarle County Public Schools before transferring and finishing in the Charlottesville City School System. After graduating from Charlottesville High School in 2005, she attended Radford University and majored in Fine Arts with a concentration in Dance. While at Radford she joined and eventually lead several clubs and organizations as well as joined a sorority. She participated in several community service programs and assisted in providing social awareness programming for her campus community. In 2009 she received her Bachelor’s in Fine Arts and returned to the Charlottesville area. Here she began working in various roles with non-profit foundations, government contracting firms and health care institutions. She recently began her freelancing journey providing administrative services to local small businesses, musicians as well as instructional assistant work to resident grant workers. Being a Charlottesville native allows her to utilize her personal experiences to foster a mutual learning environment with local students in need. Her interests include dance, reading, writing and other creative activities.
